How good is your city's recycling website?
We've taken the best features from recycling websites across the nation. We then created a website platform that allows YOU to take advantage of the best of the best. You simply can't build a more comprehensive recycling website for your city!

Easy to build
Your Recycling Rules website is built from information in the Municipal Recycling Profile (MRP). Changing your website is as easy as updating your profile. No need to submit changes to your IT department. We replace or supplement your city’s existing recycling website.

Educational
In addition to basic information you'd expect to see on your city's recycling website, we go beyond the bin. Resident will learn where their recycling goes, how it’s sorted, and then how each of the commodities is sold to various manufacturers for reuse in your area.

Economical
Having a comprehensive recycling website is perhaps the most important component of your city's overall recycling education strategy. It's where residents turn first. Economies of scale (along with our tiered pricing strategy) allow you to have a professionally-developed website for just pennies per resident!
How It Works
About Us
Recycling Rules is a nonprofit organization passionate about recycling. That's why we developed our Recycling Rules website platform. It's the simplest way to disseminate accurate and comprehensive recycling information to your residents specific to your municipality.
The problem: Most cities have just a handful of pages posted on their city's website about recycling. Some cities do a great job, most do not. Our platform solves a critical problem. There's usually an individual (or individuals) with in-depth knowledge about a city's recycling program. That knowledge sits trapped in their head and rarely gets communicated to residents. Worse yet, the recycling folks (typically in the Department of Public Works) don't speak the same language as the city's IT department that codes their city's website.
The solution: Our platform makes it easy to unlock all the great information about your city's recycling program and get it out to your residents. It's simple to use, economical and best of all, builds trust with your residents.
